Frequently Asked Questions


Q. Are there any restrictions to join Empowered Surveys?
A. You must be an Australian resident and above the age of 17.

Q. Does it cost anything to join Empowered Surveys?
A. It is absolutely FREE! All you have to do is provide your opinion on a range of topics, and you will be rewarded for your time

Q. Can I hold more than one member account?
A. Unfortunately, not. We only allow one account per member to maintain the integrity of the data we collect and anyone who provides false information may have their privileges and rewards revoked as per our terms of service. All accounts that will be identified as fraud and/or multiple accounts under a single member will be terminated immediately including the points collected in it.  

Q. What will you do with the information I provide you during the registration process?
A. We only wish to send you information that will be relevant to your lifestyle and preferences at any given time. The information you provide us is one way of ensuring we can do this effectively. To improve the relevancy of information, you may consider editing your profile to ensure it reflects your current situation.

Q. What will you do with the information and opinions I volunteer for the surveys?
A. Your information and responses to surveys are compiled along with other Panel Members who have responded. This information is distributed to researchers in aggregate. In result, your individual responses are presented and analyzed anonymously. Empowered Surveys does not sell or reveal your contact details to third parties. Q. If I unsubscribe/resign from the Empowered Surveys online community, will I lose my rewards?
A. Yes, and we will be incredibly sad to see you leave! We offer a 14 day grace period after you unsubscribe, and you can reactivate your account by logging in to Empowered Surveys during this period, and hang on to your rewards. After the grace period has expired, your account will be permanently terminated, and you will not be able to recover your rewards.

Q. What kind of emails will I receive?
A. You will receive invitations to some surveys where you can earn some amazing rewards. Time to time, we'll also send you a newsletter with what's happening on our community...stay tuned! Also, there are regular fun activities sent via email which you can participate in to earn extra points.

Q. How often should I expect emails from Empowered Surveys?
A. We believe you should only receive emails that will be of relevance to you. Your email frequency will, therefore, depend on many factors including, but not limited to your location, gender, age and the requirements of our survey partners. Depending on these factors, you can expect to receive up to 10 survey invitations per day.
You can also limit the number of surveys you receive per day, just go to your profile and edit the number of surveys you intend to receive per day.

Q. How can I identify Empowered Surveys survey invitations?
A. All of our emails will be sent out from our email address 'support@empoweredsurveys.com.au' and admin@cintindex.com’. Please make sure to add it as a safe sender, so that you don't miss out!

Q. Do I have to receive survey invitations from Empowered Surveys?
A. Yes - by joining and accepting our terms and conditions, you agree to receive survey invitations from us. Each email we send you is an opportunity for you to earn points, which you can then use to redeem great rewards.
Q. It has taken me longer to complete a survey than what is advised on the invitation. Why is that? 
A. The length of time to complete a survey is added to the invitation as a guide. It can take longer or shorter to complete a survey depending on the answers you supply. If you have any queries about how long it has taken to complete a survey, please contact member support via the contact us or shoot through a discussion on our forum.
There are also possibilities where the original survey presented to you has already been closed / reached the target number of responses. Our system will automatically redirect you to an available survey which may match your profile and the survey requirements.

Q. What happens if I don't respond to a survey invitation?
A. If you don't respond to our survey invitations, you will not earn any rewards. Please be wary of closing dates advertised on some of our email communications. If you choose to respond after the date indicated, then you may not be eligible to collect the reward points related to a particular email.
Q. I didn’t receive my reward - what do I do?
A. Due to reporting requirements, some surveys may take up to 30 days to appear in your account. While other survey rewards will appear in your account instantly. Please contact us if you are having trouble with your rewards.

**For Lifestyle surveys, rewarding may take up to 14 business days due to quality checking of the survey provider. To know more, kindly refer to the survey invite notes. While for surveys sent through admin@cintindex.com, points for completed surveys may take up to 48 business hours as the crediting is manually done as of the moment. We are currently working out on automating this.


Empowered Surveys Rewards


Q. Will my Reward balance expire?
A. As long as your account remains active, your reward balance will not expire! Furthermore, we offer Prezzee swap gift cards which gives you the option to exchange it with any gift card from a retailer of your choice. Click here to check the available brands. Your reward balance will automatically be reduced when you select the voucher amount from our "Rewards Redemption" page.

Q. How long does it take to receive my gift card once I have a request for redemption?
A. We do voucher redemptions every second business day. Please allow 7 business days for your voucher to be received in your inbox.


Technical


Q. I've forgotten my username/password! What should I do?
Don't worry! Visit our forgotten password page to reset your password. You'll need your registered email address. If you don't know your registered email address, contact our support team for assistance.

Q. Can I change my password?
Simply hit the forget password and you will receive a link to reset/change your password.

Q. I want to update / change my email address. How?
A. You may send us an email through our support team. You will then receive a confirmation email from our team that your email address has been updated. As some surveys were already launched for delivery prior your email change request, you may still receive few survey invites to the original email address registered within 48 hours from the email address change. You may ignore these invites.

Q. I suddenly stopped receiving survey invites. Why?

A. There are possible reasons for this. You may reach out to our support team and we will help check it out for you.

  • As part of our quality measures, our system tags spam email address or those with monitored abnormal activities. There may be times where our system may tag an email address wrongly.
  • Your account has been flagged to have suspicious survey activities such as speeding, inconsistent responses, referral of dummy email addresses, and other forms of illegal activities. To protect the integrity of the surveys we host, all accounts that will be flagged are automatically terminated.

Q. Do I need any special software to participate in surveys/email promotions?
A. For the majority of cases, all you will need is an internet connection, a working email address and a reliable web browser to read our surveys and email promotions. From time to time, you may also receive special surveys or promotions such as movie trailers or a sneak peek of a TV or radio commercial so a working sound card and appropriate software may be required. This might include web browser plugins and/or software for rich media, video, audio, flash animation and portable document files (PDFs). Programs such as Macromedia Flash Player, Apple Quicktime, Microsoft Media Player, Real Player, and Acrobat Reader are readily available for free online.

Q. I responded to a survey invitation, but the survey was full or I did not qualify! Why?
A. Survey invitations are very popular amongst our members. Some surveys will have set quotas for responses and in most cases, they will also specify a closing date for responses. From time to time, we may have survey response quotas filled out before the closing date. The people who respond quickest have the best chance to accumulate the maximum amount of rewards allocated to that survey, so it pays to be vigilant of your Empowered Surveys emails.

Q. I responded to a survey and got redirected to a different survey! Why?
A. Some of our survey invitations have an automated redirect option when you don't qualify or have been dismissed from the survey due to various reasons. We want to make survey you have as many opportunities to accumulate points as possible, thus if you don't qualify and/or get screened out, you can have another opportunity to get points from a different survey.

Q. I finished the survey but I got a screen out message or it says I am not qualified. Why?
A. There are two possible reasons for this.
  • As many panelists are actively answering surveys, there may be times where the current survey you were answering to has reached the target number of responses it is looking for while you were in the middle of the survey.
  • As part of data integrity check, there are security measures placed within the survey to monitor any inconsistencies with your responses, or any fraud activities that were done in the middle of the survey. As an action, all responses that were monitored fraud will not be accepted and rewarded.

Q. How do I unsubscribe/resign from the Empowered Surveys online community?
A. You can unsubscribe from Empowered Surveys via the Account section of the website. Additionally, at the bottom of each email we send to you there is a link to unsubscribe from the service. Please note it can take up to 72 hours for the change to take effect and when you unsubscribe, your account remains in a grace status for a period of 14 days, during which you can reactivate your account if you change your mind. Once this grace period has expired, your account is permanently terminated, and any reward points you have earned will be forfeited.
